Updating the Software Using the Garmin Drive App
When an update is available, the Garmin Drive™ app sends it to the device automatically.
The next time you start your device, it displays Updating Software while it installs the update.
Do not turn off your vehicle or unplug the device while the update is installing.
After the update is complete, the device restarts and operates as usual.
