Syncing Data to Your Device Using the Garmin Explore App

After you select a map or make edits to your data, you must sync the changes to each affected device. The Garmin Explore™ app supports GPSMAP® 66i and newer devices.

NOTE: An email address and password are required to sign in to the Garmin Explore app.
  1. From the app store on your smartphone, install the Garmin Explore app.
  2. Bring your smartphone within 10 m (33 ft.) of your device.
  3. Open the Garmin Explore app, and sign in as the user assigned to the device.

    Changes made to data begin to sync automatically.
