Preset and Check-In Messages
Preset and check-in messages are a convenient way to send messages to a specific group of recipients. Preset and check-in messages allow you to check in or let people know that you are fine. You can create three customized preset messages. Three (non-customizable) check-in messages are available.
NOTE:
Check-in messages have replaced preset messages as of September 2022.
inReach® accounts set up prior to this date will still have preset messages available, but any new accounts created after this date will use check-in messages.
