Testing Your Device

You run a test of the devices assigned to your user account before you head into the field. You are allowed five free test messages per month.

NOTE: Do not test the SOS feature without prior approval from the Garmin Response℠ center. If you test the SOS feature without approval, you may be charged for any rescue efforts. Contact your organization's administrator to set up an SOS test.
  1. From the Account tab, select the Test tab.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.

    After you receive a confirmation message, your device is ready to use.
