Removing the Power and Transducer Cables From the Mount
You should remove the power and transducer cables from the mount if you are replacing a damaged cable, transducer, or shaft.

With the motor in the stowed position, using a #1 Phillips screwdriver, remove the single screw
that secures the upper tab of the bracket 
to the mount base, and remove the bracket.

Using a 3 mm hex bit or wrench, remove the four screws
that secure the two brackets 
to the mount on both sides of the cable channel.
