Group Ride
The Tread® - SXS Edition device supports radio group rides with a Group Ride accessory, and mobile group rides with the Tread app.
Radio group rides support location sharing, preset text messaging and, in some regions, voice communication. All riders must have a Group Ride accessory and must remain within radio range of each other to send and receive group ride information.
Mobile group rides support location sharing only. Riders in a mobile group ride must maintain an internet connection on their phones to send and receive group ride information. Riders without a GPS device can create or join a mobile group ride using the Tread app.
You can be in a radio group ride and a mobile group ride at the same time.
