Pairing Dive Computers and Transceivers
For more information about pairing and software updates, see the owner's manual for the Descent™ devices. To ensure compatibility when you are pairing devices, you should be in a location with internet access so that your devices can download the required software updates.
- Pair each user's dive computer with a Descent T2 transceiver, and set the placement location to My Tank.
- Pair each user's dive computer with the Garmin Dive™ app on their phone.
- Check for software updates for each user's dive computer and Descent T2 transceiver using the Garmin Dive app.
- Pair each user's dive computer with every other diver's Descent T2 transceiver, and set the placement location to Another Diver.
