Viewing Aviation Waypoints

This feature allows users to view weather data and set alerts for information that is provided and maintained by third parties. Garmin® makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of weather data provided by third parties. It is your responsibility to review weather reports and conditions, to remain aware of your surroundings, and to use safe judgment, especially during times of potential severe weather.

  1. Select an option:

    • From the watch face, scroll to view the waypoints glance, and select the glance.

      NOTE: You may need to add the glance to your glance list (Customizing the Glances List).

    • From the watch face, press Upper-right button, and select Waypoints.

      NOTE: You may need to add the app to your app list (Customizing the App List).
  2. Scroll down to view information about the nearest aviation waypoint, such as frequencies, runway information, and weather data.
    TIP: You can select a category to view more details.
  3. Swipe left, and select an option:

    • To view the waypoint on the map, select Show on Map.

    • To navigate to the waypoint, select Direct-To.

    • To set weather alerts for the waypoint, select Alerts > Weather Alerts, and select an option.

    • To set personal minimum alerts for the waypoints, select Alerts > Personal Minimums, and select an option (Setting Personal Minimum Alerts).

    • To add the waypoint to your favorite airport list, select Add to Favorites.

    • To view a different waypoint, select Search Waypoints, and select an option.

    • To change the default waypoint, select Pinned Airport, and select an option.
