Installing the External VHF Antenna
The external VHF antenna contains a magnet. Under certain circumstances, magnets may cause interference with some internal medical devices and electronic devices, including pacemakers, insulin pumps, or hard drives in laptop computers. Keep the device away from medical devices and electronic devices.

Connect the angled antenna adapter
to the antenna port on the magnetic mount.
TIP: You can connect the antenna cable directly to the antenna port if you do not need to change the angle of the cable.

Place the magnetic antenna on the roof of your vehicle.
