Viewing the Surface Interval App

The surface interval app shows your nitrogen (N2) and helium (He) tissue load level, current oxygen toxicity units (OTU), and central nervous system (CNS) percentage.

NOTE: The OTU accumulated during a dive expire after 24 hours. For more information about the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA®) OTU guidelines and calculations, see garmin.com/dive/cns-otu.
  1. Select SI.

    Green Green: 0 to 79% tissue load.

    Yellow Yellow: 80 to 99% tissue load.

    Red Red: 100% or greater tissue load.

    Green Green: Under the NOAA recreational limit.

    Yellow Yellow: NOAA recreational limit.

    Red Red: NOAA military limit.

    Green Green: 0 to 79% CNS oxygen toxicity.

    Yellow Yellow: 80 to 99% CNS oxygen toxicity.

    Red Red: 100% or greater CNS oxygen toxicity.

  2. Press NEXT to view your no-fly time remaining and the time of day the no-fly period ends.
