Joining a GroupRide Session from a Nearby Device

You must enable the Suggest Creating Rides setting to receive a prompt to join a GroupRide session when other compatible Edge® bike computers are nearby (GroupRide Settings).

You can join a GroupRide session on your Edge bike computer when other compatible Edge bike computers are nearby.

  1. Bring the bike computer within 3 m (10 ft.) of another Edge bike computer.
    A message appears on the bike computer asking if you want to join a GroupRide session.
  2. Select Checkmark symbol.
  3. Select Start Location Sharing.
  4. Press Start stop symbol, and go for a ride.
