Mounting the Gesture Remote on a Fishing Rod Grip Locate the grip mount, the rubber damper, and the rubber bands. Set the rubber damper against the back of the grip mount by aligning the holes together. Place the grip mount where you want it on the grip of the fishing rod. Attach a rubber band to one of the hooks on the back of the mount. Wrap the rubber band around the rod and latch it onto the hook on the other side of the mount. Repeat this process using the second rubber band and the other 2 hooks. Press the remote into the mount until you hear a click.
