Bail Mounting the Dock

Before you can install the bail-mount bracket, you must select a mounting location and purchase or fabricate the appropriate hardware for your mounting surface.

You can use the included brackets to bail mount the device on a flat surface.

  1. Using the base of the bail-mount bracket Callout number 1 as a template, mark the pilot holes.

  2. Using the appropriate size drill bit for your mounting hardware, drill the pilot holes.

    Do not drill through the mount.

  3. Secure the bail-mount bracket to the mounting surface using the appropriate hardware.
  4. Screw the bail-mount knobs Callout number 2 into the sides of the bail-mount adapter Callout number 3.
  5. Place the bail-mount adapter into the bail-mount bracket, and tighten the bail-mount knobs.
  6. Connect all of the necessary cables to the back of the dock.
  7. Secure the dock to the bail-mount adapter using the included screws Callout number 4.
