Connecting the Cables

CAUTION

Ensure that you connect the correct spade connector to the correct battery terminal. Damage to the battery or device, or bodily harm may occur if the device is improperly connected to the battery.

NOTE: There are 2 sets of power connectors on the all-in-one cable. The power connectors with fuses must connect to the battery. The other power connectors are optional, and can be used to connect smaller accessories such as LED lights to the battery.
  1. Route the transducer cable to the battery and the chartplotter.
  2. Connect the all-in-one cable port 1 to the end of the transducer cable.

  3. Using the fused power connectors 2, slide the positive (red) spade connector onto the positive (red) terminal on the battery.
  4. Slide the negative (black) spade connector onto the negative (black) terminal on the battery.
  5. Connect the 3-pin power connector 3 to the power/data port on the chartplotter.
  6. Connect the Garmin® Marine Network cable 4 to the network port on the chartplotter.
  7. If you have any other accessories that you want to connect to the battery, connect the other power cable 5 to your device (optional).
