LED Blink Codes

The LEDs on the transducer blink in different patterns to indicate operational status. There are two LEDs on the side of the transducer. The Status LED is indicated with an S and the Network LED is indicated with an N.

Status LED Codes

LED Color

State

Status

Green

Continuous blinking

The transducer is connected to a chartplotter and is operating properly. You should see sonar data on the chartplotter.

Red

Continuous blinking

The transducer has power and is awake, but is awaiting connection to a chartplotter. If the transducer is connected to a chartplotter and this code persists, check the wiring connections.

Green

Quick blink followed by a 3-second pause

The transducer has power and is in a low-power state until it receives a wake-up signal from a chartplotter.

Orange

Continuous blinking

A software update is in progress.

Red

Two blinks followed by a 3-second pause

Sonar failure.

Red

Four blinks followed by a 3-second pause

The sonar module input voltage is below the required minimum voltage.

Red

Five blinks followed by a 3-second pause

The sonar module input voltage exceeds the maximum voltage.

No light

Not applicable

The transducer is submerged, or the sonar module isn't receiving enough power. Check the wiring connections to make sure that the wire and the power source are functional and properly installed.
NOTE: All LEDs are disabled when the transducer detects that it is submerged. To avoid false readings, avoid touching the water detection sensor on the transducer.
Network LED Codes

LED Color

State

Status

Green

Continuous blinking

Ethernet is connected.

No light

Not applicable

Ethernet is not connected or the transducer is submerged.
NOTE: All LEDs are disabled when the transducer detects that it is submerged. To avoid false readings, avoid touching the water detection sensor on the transducer.
