Viewing Windlass Information

If you have connected a compatible windlass sensor or sensors to the same NMEA 2000® network as the chartplotter, you can monitor rode deployment information and receive alerts.

  1. Select an option:
    • On any screen with a data field, select Menu options symbol > Edit Overlays, and select the data field where you want to show windlass information.
    • On a gauges screen, select Menu options symbol > Edit Gauge Set, select the gauge where you want to show windlass information, and select Replace Data.
  2. Select Vessel, and select the windlass rode information you want to view in the data field or gauge.
NOTE: Windlass information is not compatible with all gauge types.
TIP: You can configure the notification settings so you receive alerts from the windlass sensor (Network Alarms).
CAUTION

The Beeper setting must be turned on to make alarms audible (Sounds and Display Settings). Failure to set audible alarms could lead to injury or property damage.

Resetting Rode Information

If the rode information shown from your windlass sensor does not appear accurate, you can reset the data to help calibrate it.

  1. Adjust the anchor so it is in a position you want to set as zero.
  2. From a screen showing rode information in a data field, press and hold the data field you want to reset.
  3. Select Reset Rode Counter.

The rode information resets to zero.
