Considerations for OEM Installations
If you are an OEM installing this stereo, you may use an approved specialized power and speaker adapter cable. You should use 25 A adapter cables when possible.
Although it is not appropriate for all installations, you can use an approved 15 A adapter
cable if you follow the considerations below. The approved 15 A cables include these Garmin®
part numbers:

When connecting the stereo to an approved 15 A power and speaker adapter cable, you must
observe these considerations:

The current through these adapter cables must not exceed 15 A.

The fuse or circuit breaker connected to the positive wire must be 15 A.

The power cable must be rated for 15 A or greater.

The maximum voltage drop experienced by the stereo must not exceed 1.0 Vdc for a 12 Vdc system or 2.0 Vdc for a 24 Vdc system.

You must set the correct speaker profiles for your connected speakers in the DSP settings of the Fusion® Audio app.
