Enabling Sidemount Setup

When diving in a sidemount tank configuration with two paired Descent™ transceivers, you can use the sidemount setup feature to manage tank switching and configure the position of your tanks.

Hold MENU, and select Dive Setup > Dive Network & Air Integration > Display Setup > Sidemount Setup.
Select Status > On.
Select the transceivers to use on your left and right tanks.

NOTE: Both transceivers must be installed on equal volume tanks, paired, and set to the location option of My Tank. If your transceivers are not already set up, you can pair new transceivers or update an existing transceiver's location.
Select Switch Tank Alert > On.
If necessary, select Switch Pressure to change the pressure threshold.
During a dive, when the pressure difference is greater than the configured threshold, an alert appears to remind you to breathe from the tank with the higher pressure.
If necessary, select your tank volume.

During a dive, the transceiver data screen displays the pressure for both of your sidemount tanks. The recommended breathing tank is highlighted in blue.
