Adjusting the Backlight

Select
> System > Sounds and Display > Backlight.

Adjust the backlight.
TIP: From any screen, press
repeatedly to scroll through the brightness levels. This can be helpful when the brightness is so low you cannot see the screen.
Changing the Backlight Mode
Some models are capable of dynamically adjusting the backlight in some areas independently of
other areas. If you prefer to use a standard backlight mode that provides the same
brightness across the entire screen at all times, you can change the backlight
behavior.
NOTE:
This option is not available on all chartplotter models.

Select > System > Sounds and Display > Backlight > Backlight Mode.

Select an option:

To set the backlight functionality so it adjusts the brightness in some areas independently of others, select Dynamic.

To set the backlight functionality so it provides the same level of brightness across the entire screen, select Standard.
