Using a Garmin Watch with a Garmin Chartplotter for Voice Control
Before you can use Boat Command with your compatible Garmin® watch, you must enable Boat Mode on the watch (Enabling Boat Mode on a Garmin Watch).
After you pair a compatible Garmin watch with the chartplotter for voice control, you can speak a command to the watch. The chartplotter hears your voice commands, and speaks a reply through the wearable device, when applicable.
NOTE:
Boat Command is available
only on select quatix® models.
NOTE:
If you do not hear spoken replies through your watch, make sure the volume on the watch is
set high enough for the environment.

On the watch, press
, and select the Boat Command
app.
TIP: If you have not changed the default Hold START function on your watch, you can hold to open the Boat Command app.
The app opens on the watch, and a line appears just above the menu bar on the chartplotter.
The watch beeps when it is ready for you to speak a command.
