Video Source Types
Various video sources connected to the chartplotter or network are assigned a source type that defines the type of video provided and how the input is handled by the system. You can configure video sources to adjust the type if needed.

The connected video source is a CVBS or IP camera. |

The connected video source is an HDMI entertainment device, such as a media streaming stick. |

Monitor |
The connected video source is a device using the chartplotter as a monitor, such as a PC. This type provides the lowest possible latency. |

Not Selected |
The connected video source has not been assigned a specific type. This source acts as Monitor type until it is changed to a different type. |
Changing the Video Source Name and Type
If the system assigned an incorrect type to a connected video source, or you would prefer for a source to behave as a different type, you can change it. You can also change the name associated with the video source.

- Select the video source you want to change and select Review.

Select an option:

To change the type associated with the source, select Source Type and select a type.

To change the name associated with the source, select Name and enter a name.
