The HSI can be set to 'Basic', 'Map', or 'Traffic' as desired. 'Basic' is the default option for the HSI and displays the traditional compass rose with the aircraft, CDI, and aircraft icon. The 'Map' option allows for most information normally found on the MFW Map page to be inlaid into the HSI with all of the traditional compass components of the HSI still visible. The 'Traffic' option allows for most information found on the MFW Traffic page to be inlaid into the HSI with all of the traditional compass components of the HSI still visible.

If the HSI Style is set to display the map inlay, the course deviation indications, topographical, traffic, weather, and terrain information are all available to be toggled on or off in the 'Primary Flight Window' Settings Menu.
