Display Units

In normal operations, the PFW(s) present graphical flight instrumentation (attitude, heading, airspeed, altitude, vertical speed) in either Full Screen or Split Screen Mode. In Full Screen Mode, the PFW occupies the entire display area. In Split Mode, the PFW is condensed to accommodate an MFW on the inboard portion of the display, with the PFW shown on the outboard portion of the display, reduced in size.

The MFD can be set by the pilot to display a single MFW in Full Screen Mode or can be split to display two MFWs or a PFW and MFW side-by-side in Split Mode. In normal operations, the MFW(s) present flight applications to allow for reduced workload and greater situational awareness.

Any display can select Full or Split Screen Mode.
