Creating a Scheduled Message:

There is a character limit of 21 for system messages.

There are four ways to navigate
to the 'Messages' Window for creating a
scheduled message:
- Touch the Timer Indicator Button on the bottom of the display ("- -:- -:- -") then touch the All Timers button.
- Touch the System Indicator Button on the bottom of the display then touch the Timers & MSG Tab.
- Touch Applications Icon > Settings & Tools Tab > Timers.
- Press the MENU Softkey (on the PFD side of bezel if in split screen) then touch Timer > All Timers.
- Touch Create Message.

Touch the Type Selection Button and scroll if necessary to select what
kind of scheduled message is desired.
Depending on the Type of message, the data required for the message to populate will change (e.g. Time Interval, Time and Date, Fuel Amount, Distance, Time, and/or Waypoint).
- Enter the required data for the specific type of message.
- Touch the Message Datafield Button and enter the desired message to display when the scheduled message is generated in the system (maximum of 21 characters).

Touch the
Save & Start Button to save the entered data and begin generating scheduled messages.
Touching the Back Arrow at any time will take the user back to the 'Messages' Window, if doing so before saving, the data will be erased and the procedure will have to start again at Step 2.
