CHT Shock Cooling (Optional)
The system will provide indications when the temperature of the fastest changing cylinder declines at a specific rate. One blue arrow pointing down will indicate a CHT shock cooling rate of ≥50°F per minute. Two blue arrows pointing down will indicate a CHT shock cooling rate of ≥100°F per minute. This is to provide the pilot with situational awareness of engine parameters that may cause excess damage to any specific cylinder.
