Creating and Storing a Flight Plan in the Flight Plan Catalog:

  1. Navigate to the Flight Plan Page:
    1. Touch the FPL Icon on the MFW App Bar.

      Or:

    2. Touch the Applications Icon.
    3. Touch the Flight Plan Button.
  2. Press the MENU Softkey on the side of the display the flight plan page is being displayed. The Flight Plan Menu will open.
  3. Touch the Flight Plan Catalog Button.
  4. Touch the Create New Catalog Route Button
  5. If desired touch the Flight Plan Name Button and use the keypad to enter a name for the flight plan to be stored. Touch the Enter Button to accept the name.
  6. Touch the Add Waypoint Button.
  7. Use the Keypad to enter the waypoint identifier.

    Or:

    Use the Find Function and associated tabs (Recent, Nearest, Flight Plan, Favorites, and Search Tabs) to find a waypoint.

  8. Touch the Enter Button to accept the waypoint identifier.

    Or:

    Use the Find Function and associated tabs (Recent, Nearest, Flight Plan, Favorites, and Search Tabs) to find a waypoint.

    Or:

    Touch the predicted waypoint identifier in the lower left corner to immediately add it to the flight plan.

  9. Repeat step 6 through 8 until the flight plan is completed.
  10. Touch the Back Arrow.

    Or:

    Press the BACK Softkey to go back to the flight plan catalog page. The flight plan will automatically save.
