Exporting A Stored Flight Plan To A USB:

  1. Insert a USB into the flight display USB port.
  2. With a flight plan stored into the Flight Plan Catalog navigate to the Flight Plan Application Page on the MFW. (See the Stored Flight Plan Functions section for more information on creating, adding, and storing flight plans into the flight plan catalog.)
  3. Press the MENU Softkey to open the Flight Plan Menu.
  4. Touch the Flight Plan Catalog Button.
  5. Touch a saved flight plan to be exported.
  6. Touch the Export Button, opening the 'Export Flight Plan' window.
  7. If desired, change the name of the route (which auto populates as the first and last waypoint in the flight plan):
    1. Touch the Route Comment Datafield Button.
    2. Using the keyboard enter a name for the route to be exported.
    3. Touch the Enter Button.
  8. If desired, change the name of the file (which auto populates as the first and last waypoint in the flight plan):
    1. Touch the File Name Datafield Button.
    2. Using the keyboard enter a file name for the route to be exported.
    3. Touch the Enter Button.
  9. Touch the Export Button.

The 'Export Flight Plan' window will close after successfully exporting the flight plan and will appear as a .fpl type file on the USB drive.
