Enabling/Disabling Map Features/Details:

NOTICE
Navigation of procedures by the pilot may be completed by using the touch screen features, softkeys on the bezel, and/or the Dual Concentric Knobs on the AXIS™ flight display(s). Unless otherwise noted, most procedures are written to utilize the touchscreen feature but may also be navigated by using the softkeys and Dual Concentric Knobs for redundancy in the case of a touch screen failure.
  1. Access the 'Map' application:
    1. Touch the Map Button on the MFW App Bar.

      Or:

    1. Touch the Applications Icon on the MFW App Bar.
    2. Touch the Map Button.

      Or:

    1. Use the Outer DCK (on the MFW side of the PFD while in split screen mode) to scroll to the 'Map' application.
  2. With the 'Map' application displayed on the MFW, press the MENU Softkey (on the MFW side of the PFD while in split screen mode) to open the 'Map Menu' Window.
  3. Touch the Map Settings Button
  4. Touch one of the following tabs to display a list of features and/or details to be displayed on the Map Page.

    • Weather Tab

    • Aviation Tab

    • Airspace Tab

    • Land Tab

  5. Touch the desired feature or detail to be enabled or disabled (green indication signifies it is enabled).
  6. To navigate back to the Map application, touch the Back Arrow, press the BACK Softkey, or press and hold the BACK Softkey.
