Creating a User Timer:

There is a character limit of 21 for system messages.

  1. There are four ways to navigate to the 'Messages' Window for creating a User Timer:
    • Touch the Timer Indicator Button at the bottom of the display ("- -:- -:- -") then touch the All Timers button.
    • Touch the System Indicator Button at the bottom of the display then touch the Timers & MSG Tab.
    • Touch Applications Icon > Settings & Tools Tab > Timers.
    • Press the MENU Softkey (on the PFW side of bezel if in split screen) then touch Timer > All Timers.
  2. Touch Create Timer.
  3. Touch the Function Button to choose between 'Elapsed Time' or 'Count Down'.
  4. If 'Count Down' is selected touch the Time Button to enter a desired time using the keypad.
  5. If desired touch the Message Button to add a user message to display after the time has expired.
  6. Touch Save & Start to start the timer and save it to the system for future use.

    Touching the Back Arrow or Delete Button at any time will take the user back to the 'Messages' Window.

    To delete a User Timer see "Deleting a Timer or Scheduled Message".
