Pedal Height Configuration
The pedal rails are arranged out-of-the-box to support the pedals in a high position, due to the off-center placement of the mounting point on the pedal carriages. You can reverse the pedal rails for a lower pedal position.
You should always install the rails with the pedal carriage button toward the stern of the kayak, so you can easily reach it to adjust the pedal distance while seated.
NOTE:
When reversing the pedal rails in a gunwale-mounted installation, you must remove the pre-installed right-angle adapters from the rails and reinstall them according to the reversed orientation (Removing the Right-Angle Adapter).
