Replacing the Heart Rate Monitor Battery

  1. Remove the sleeve Callout number 1 from the heart rate monitor module.

  2. Press down on the tab Callout number 2, and rotate the battery door counter-clockwise.
    NOTE: Some models do not have the tab. You still have to rotate the battery door counter-clockwise.

    The arrow moves from locked Callout number 3 to unlocked Callout number 4.

  3. Remove the battery door.
  4. Gently pull up the battery tab Callout number 5, and remove the battery from the battery door.
    NOTE: You can also use a magnet to remove the battery.

  5. Wait 30 seconds.
  6. Insert the new battery in the door with the negative side facing up.
  7. Align the battery door with the unlock icon.
    NOTE: The battery door must be flush with the heart rate monitor module.
  8. Rotate the battery door clockwise until the marker points to locked.
  9. Replace the sleeve.
