Enabling the Screen Lock
To prevent unauthorised use of your device, you can enable the Screen Lock feature, which requires a Personal Identification Number (PIN). When enabled, you must enter the PIN to unlock the screen each time you turn on the device.
If you enable the Screen Lock feature, Garmin® Support cannot retrieve the PIN or access your device. It is your responsibility to provide the PIN to anyone authorised to use the navigator.

Select
> Device > Screen Lock.

Select an option:

To enable the screen lock and set a new PIN, select Require PIN and enter a PIN number.

To change your PIN number, select Change PIN and enter a PIN number.

To disable the screen lock, clear the Require PIN tick box.
