Configuring Sensors for Heave Compensation
You must mount and connect at least one compatible transducer and at least one MSC™ 10 heading sensor before you can configure them for heave compensation.
Before the heave compensation feature can accurately adjust the sonar readings to account for the affects of waves on the vessel, you must configure the software to identify the location of the sensors on the vessel.

Select
> My Vessel > Device Position.
- Select a connected compatible transducer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to enter values for each axis of the transducer position in relation to the vessel.
- Select a connected MSC 10 heading sensor.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to enter values for each axis of the heading-sensor position in relation to the vessel.
- Repeat the previous steps for additional compatible transducers and heading sensors if applicable.
