Setting the Radar Screen to Shift Ahead of the Vessel Automatically

You can set the radar screen so the center shifts ahead of your vessel when it reaches a specified speed.

NOTE: You cannot adjust this setting if you are using the Off Center option to change the center of the radar screen so it is not on your vessel location.
  1. From a radar screen, select Options > Radar Setup > Appearance > Look Ahead.
  2. Select Menu button > Change Speed, and set the speed at which you want the radar screen to shift ahead of the vessel.
