When connected to the same Garmin BlueNet™ network or Garmin^® Marine Network as a compatible Garmin chartplotter, you can update your compatible Fusion^® stereos and accessories from the chartplotter.

You can perform a Garmin network update which updates all of the of Garmin and Fusion devices connected to the network.

In some cases, you may have a hideaway stereo that you control using a Garmin chartplotter connected to the same NMEA 2000^® network, not using an Ethernet cable. You can initiate a software update for this stereo or stereo accessories on a USB storage device using the interface on the connected Garmin chartplotter (Updating the Software Using a USB Flash Drive and a Connected Garmin Chartplotter).
