After applying power to the system, the previously Active Flight Plan is retained and automatically repopulated if the aircraft position is at the origin airport and the aircraft is on the ground. If, however, the aircraft is not at the origin, on the ground, or if more than 12 hours have passed since the last Active Flight Plan modification, the previously Active Flight Plan is not retained.
