Intercom System (ICS)

The intercom system (ICS) connects the pilot, copilot, and passengers. The intercom allows for quick isolation of audio from other positions by touching the corresponding Isolate Button (Pilot, Copilot, Passengers, Pilot Isolate, Crew Isolate, Pilot ISO, Crew ISO, etc.). The selected intercom volume level can be adjusted from 0 to 100% by touching the Volume Button then sliding your finger right or left on the slider. Sliding to the right increases volume, sliding to the left decreases volume.

The GMA 245’s ICS operates in a “opt out” methodology. This means that by default all users are in the ICS, and users can Isolate themselves using one of two preset ICS isolation settings “Pilot Iso” and “Crew Iso”. Once an "Iso" option has been selected, the positions actively in the ICS will be highlighted with a glowing green line in the ICS summary image on the audio panel page.
