Smart Airspace

The Smart Airspace™ function de-emphasizes airspaces above or below the current aircraft altitude to minimize irrelevant visual clutter on the MFW Map. The function does not require the aircraft present position or flight path to enter the lateral boundaries of the airspace. If the current aircraft altitude is within 1500 feet of the vertical boundaries of the airspace, the airspace boundary is shown normally. If the current aircraft altitude is beyond 1500 feet of the vertical boundaries of the airspace, the airspace boundary is shown subdued.
