PFW Settings
The PFW Settings provide access to the following:
- Orientation: The Orientation Button when pressed allows the pilot to choose Heading or Auto.
- HSI Style: The HSI Style Button when pressed allows the pilot to choose Basic, Map, or Traffic.
- CDI: Enables or disables the course deviation indicator on the HSI (green annunciator indicates enabled).
- Topo: Enables the topographical map to be displayed on the HSI when touched (HSI style must be displaying the map).
- Traffic: Enables Traffic to be displayed on the HSI when touched (HSI style must be displaying the map).
- Weather: Displays weather on the HSI when touched (HSI style must be displaying the map).
- Terrain: Displays terrain information on the HSI when touched (HSI style must be displaying the map).
- Bearing Pointer 1/Bearing Pointer 2: Provides the pilot with available options for what indications the bearing pointers display (OFF, Flight Plan, VOR, Best, or Nearest).
- Mach Indication (Optional): Allows the pilot to choose to display the mach indication on the PFD in the 'Mach Indication' Window (Hide or Show).
- Meters Overlay or Feet Overlay: Enables or disables the altitude and overlay for the current altitude and selected altitude on the PFW altimeter (green annunciator indicates enabled).
- Slip/Skid Indication: Allows the pilot to choose to display the slip/skid indication as either a ball or a ball in the 'Slip/Skid Indication' Window (Ball or Bar).
- Flight Director Style: Allows the pilot to choose the aircraft attitude symbol and flight director format to be displayed on the attitude indicator (COM Volume, COM Tuning, Single Cue, or Dual Cue)
- Primary Knob Action Selection Button: Allows the pilot to customize the action of the left knob on the GDU in the 'Left Knob Action' Window (Altitude/Heading or Course/Baro).
- Secondary Knob Action Selection Button: Allows the pilot to customize the action of the right knob on the GDU in the 'Right Knob Action' Window (Altitude/Heading or Course/Baro).
- Transition Altitude: Allows the pilot to adjust at what altitude the altimeter setting will begin flashing to alert the pilot to transition to/from the standard barometric pressure setting.
- Transition Level: Allows the pilot to adjust at what flight level the altimeter setting will begin flashing to alert the pilot to transition to/from the standard barometric pressure setting or the preset baro setting.
- SFD Baro Sync: Enables or disables the barometric pressure setting synchronization with the standby flight display (green annunciator indicates enabled).
- Traffic Symbols: Enables or disables the traffic symbols on the PFW (green annunciator indicates enabled).
- Airport Signs: Enables or disables airport signs to be viewed on the PFW (green annunciator indicates enabled).
- Horizon Heading: Enables or disables the horizon heading marks to be displayed on the zero pitch line (green annunciator indicates enabled).
- Runway Locator: Enables or disables the Runway Locator feature of SVT™ (green annunciator indicates enabled).
- Flight Path Marker: Enables or disables the Flight Path Marker on the PFW (green annunciator indicates enabled).
- Pathways: Enables or disables the Pathways feature on the PFW (green annunciator indicates enabled).
- G-Meter: Enables the G-Force meter to display and can be set to Off, Auto, or On.
