ADAHRS, AHRS, and/or ADC LRU's
The Air Data, Attitude, and Heading Reference System (ADAHRS) senses aircraft attitude and air data to be used to display primary flight data to the pilot for use by other installed systems. ADAHRS requires GPS and airspeed inputs for aiding the system. AXIS™ requires an interfaced magnetometer to determine magnetic heading and uses an OAT probe to measure the Outside Air Temperature (OAT). An OAT probe is required to display the Static and International Standard Atmosphere (ISA) relative temperatures on the AXIS flight display.
The following LRU's comprise the ADAHRS/AHRS/ADC interface:
- ADAHRS - (At least one GSU must be
installed to interface with AXIS.)
- GSU 25 - (required if a GFC 500 is configured)
- GSU 73
- GSU 75
- Magnetometers - The Magnetometer
measures the local magnetic field and sends data to the (AD)AHRS for processing to
determine aircraft magnetic heading.
- GMU 11
- GMU 22
- GMU 44B
- Temperature Probes - The Temperature Probe provides raw air temperature data. At
least one temperature probe must be installed for each type of AHRS installed in the
system.
- GTP 59
