Airport Locators provide advanced situational awareness by providing a visual representation of the Origin and Destination airports in the active FMS flight plan. They are represented as bold airport signs on the flight display. Origin airports are depicted in bold white with a black outline around the sign and the Destination airport is depicted in bold cyan.

When Airport Signs are activated and a flight plan is active, Airport Locators appear on the display at approximately 20 NM from an airport and disappear at approximately 4.5 NM. Airport Locators are shown without the identifier until the aircraft is approximately 8.5 NM from the airport. Airport Locators are not shown behind the airspeed or altitude display.
