Reverting A Flight Path Angle Constraint Back To The Navigation Database Value:

FPA constraints can be modified after having been added to the flight plan. The system also provides a way to revert a modified FPA constraint back to the system calculated FPA. These modifications will redefine the calculated vertical path and may result in movement of the Top of Descent (TOD).

  1. Navigate to the flight plan application window on the MFD.
  2. Touch the altitude constraint button in the ALT column.
  3. Touch the VNAV Defaults Button.
  4. Touch the Default Descent Indicator Button.
