The AXIS™ flight display has a fully integrated Garmin Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) using the internal GFC 500 (optional) that interfaces with the avionics using the GMC 305, 307, or 507. The AFCS controller allows for remote control of autopilot engagement state, and flight director mode selection. For more information on AFCS system operation refer to the Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) Section. The following autopilot interfaces are compatible with the AXIS flight display(s).
