The autopilot and yaw damper can be manually disengaged by pressing the AP Key and/or the YD Key on the AFCS Mode Controller or the AP Button and/or the YD Button in the AFCS Control Window. Manual disengagement is indicated by a three-second flashing amber 'AP' and/or 'YD' annunciation (with subsequent annunciation removal) and an Autopilot disconnect tone.
