The aircraft's vertical track vector is displayed in cyan. The length of the vector is equal to the distance the aircraft will travel, relative to the swath's centerline at the current position, at the current ground speed and vertical speed. The slope of the vector is relative to the aircraft's current climb or descent gradient (altitude change per horizontal distance traveled). The track vector look-ahead time is selectable (30 sec, 60 sec (default), 2 min, 5 min) and determines the length of the track vector.
