Whenever the G load on the airplane goes above or below the configured settings, the HSI is temporally replaced with a large graphical G-meter. The G-meter can be deactivated in 'PFW Settings.' Regardless of the current G load, the HSI can be replaced with a G-meter by changing the ‘G Meter’ setting in 'PFW Settings.' If set to 'On', the G-meter will be displayed until the setting is changed to ''Auto', 'Off', or power is cycled. The G-Meter is also an option to be displayed on the PFD as a widget. Small white triangles are used to indicate the minimum and maximum recorded G loads. When in the auto display mode, the G-meter will automatically be displayed when an unusual attitude is sensed (i.e., greater than +/- 65° roll or +30°/-20° pitch).
