LRU Adapters
The following Line Replaceable Unit adapters provide different capabilities such as angle of attack information, power stabilization for electrical interfaces, and navigation/GPS/autopilot integration with the AXIS™ flight display(s).
- GAP 26/GI 260 － The Air Data Probe sends dynamic air pressure data to the ADAHRS for angle of attack (AOA) calculations.
- GAD 13 － The adapter connects to a compatible OAT probe, converting the gathered information from analog to digital data. It communicates with the system using the CAN Bus.
- GAD 27 － The GAD 27 provides electronic flap position control, configurable dimming for lighting circuits, 3-axis aircraft trim mixing, “wig-wag” exterior lighting control, configurable discrete inputs, and voltage bus stabilization to keep all essential avionics online during engine startup.
- GAD 29 － The GPS/Navigation Data Interface Adapter provides one option for the AXIS flight display to interface with IFR GPS LRU's providing GPS steering, WAAS LPV vertical Guidance, HSI map navigation, and coupled VNAV.
