Using a Localizer Approach with Glideslope Mode using GPS as the navigation source:

  1. Ensure an ILS approach is loaded into the active flight plan.
  2. Ensure that GPS is the selected navigation source.
    1. Touch the HSI on the PFW to open the 'PFW Menu'

      Or:

      Press the MENU Softkey (on the PFW side of the bezel while in split screen mode).

    2. Touch the CDI Selection Button > GPS.
  3. Ensure the corresponding LOC frequency is tuned.
  4. Press the APR Key on the AFCS Mode Controller or touch the APR Button in the AFCS Control Window.
