Selecting Localizer Approach with Glideslope Mode:

  1. Ensure a valid localizer frequency is tuned.
  2. Ensure that LOC is the selected navigation source.
    1. Touch the HSI on the PFW to open the 'PFW Menu'

      Or:

      Press the MENU Softkey (on the PFW side of the bezel while in split screen mode).

    2. Touch the CDI Selection Button > LOC.
  3. Press the APR Key on the AFCS Mode Controller or touch the APR Button in the AFCS Control Window.
