Standby Mode can be selected at any time by touching the Standby Button. In Standby, the transponder is powered and new codes can be entered, but no replies or squitters are transmitted. When Standby is selected, the transponder code and STBY indication are displayed in white on the Transponder Code/Mode Button and a black on amber system alert message on the PFW.
